Dhikala forest lodge is run and managed by forest department under Corbett national park, it is located in the core area of Corbett national park. The entry gate for Dhikala is Dhangadi gate. You have to show your permits to forest guards here at this point.

Dhikala forest lodge is 30 kms from Dhangadi gate, and it will take around 01 Hr to 01 Hr 15 Mins to cover this distance. This journey from Dhangadi gate to Dhikala itself is full of adventures, you have to cross dense sal forest and Ramganga River with several seasonal rivers, the animals you are most likely to spot while going to Dhikala are herds of spotted deer, Barking deer, Sambhar, Barasinga, Elephants, and Hyena, Fox, Monitor Lizard and even Tigers also.

Its location at core area of Corbett national park made it a perfect place to stay for wildlife enthusiast.

Accommodation (DhikalaForest Lodge )
Dhikala forest lodge has two wings old and new and both offers rooms as well as dormitory accommodation. It has 22 rooms, and two dormitory containing 24 Beds. As the accommodation is limited at dhikala forest lodge it is advisable to make a prior booking.

For your safely the lodge is enclosed by the effective solar fence. You can sit on the varandah at night and enjoy the breathtaking wild and jungle's sound to get an unforgettable experience.

Corbett is situated 20 KMS away from Dhangari Gate & the banks of Ramganga river. To reach here, you will across Corbett Museum, & Sultan lodge. Gairal is imbedded with wonderful nature creations that are speedy and noisy mountain rivers, dense forest with enriched wildlife and numerous more. In the night you can sit in the varandah of the lodge & can share your days adventure activities with other peoples, since the forest department has put the solar fence around the lodge, So that, In the night wild animals could not come into the lodge. Sarapdhuli Forest Lodge

It is possible to gain entry to these two ridges only if you have overnight bookings at one of these rest houses. One other way of seeing the central ridge area is by taking the conducted tour organized by the park authorities. This tour begins from the park reception office at Ramnagar. The southern most ridge, houses the Bijrani and Malani forest rest houses. If one goes down the northern side of the northern ridge, you will come upon a forest road running through the reserve forest area. This area houses the rest houses of Lohachaur, Rathuadab and Mundiapani, This forest road stretches from the Vatanvasa gate at the western extreme to the Durgadevi gate between Mohan and Marchula in the east

It is situated in the midst of Khinnanauli chaur. It is one of the newest rest house in the Corbett Park. From here you can reach in other corners of the parks easily. You can not get accomodation here easily, Since these are the V.I.P lodge and this is also surrounded by the solar fence. if you are staying here then you can do the safari in Dhikala Zone.
