By Air By Train By Road Drive on your own By Airways The nearest Airstrip serving Corbett National Sanctuary is at Phoolbag (Pantnagar), 80 km from the park. Currently, Pantnagar Airport has charter flight facilities from Mumbai and Delhi available for business class. Flight arrangement for general passengers has been terminated currently by Jagsons Airlines with the hope to revive the facilities soon. The major air link for tourists coming from northern parts of India is at Dehradun and Lucknow. Preferably, passengers availing flight from within India, or other parts of the world, should land down either to Palam Airport (domestic) or to Indira Gandhi International Airport (International), New Delhi, accordingly. Driving on your own Travelling to Corbett on road is a fantabulous experience. The National Park is well linked by state and national highways. rom Delhi to Corbett The distance between Corbett and Delhi measure out to be 300 kms; eventually, Delhi falls in a great accessibility range from Corbett and rest of Uttranchal cities. The nearest railhead is Ramnagar; this is 51 kms from Dhikala. Ramnagar is branch line of the North Eastern Railway. Trains ply to Ramnagar Railway Station from Old Delhi Railway Station, and the journey time is approximately 6-7 hours. In the worst case of train delays, traffic jam and other unseen road hurdles the journey can extend to 8-9 hours. Tourists coming from Howrah can follow the Howrah-Najibabad-Amritsar rail strip falling under Northern Railway. Najibabad has well established rail links with other parts of India and also is linked to Kotdwara through road and rail. Interestingly, there are trains to Delhi, Varanasi and Lucknow from Kotdwara that lies on the peripheral joint to Corbett National Park. By Bus from Delhi Buses ply from Delhi to Ramnagar from Anand ViharandMaharan Pratap Interstate Bus Terminus (Kashmiri Gate ISBT), Delhi, at an interval of half hour between 4.00 pm to 9.30 pm. There are regular buses available from ISBT Anand Bihar Bus terminus to Ramnagar. Buses arrive every half hour or so after the eight hour trip from Delhi; Delhi Transport Corporation runs a semi deluxe service. There are alternative ways to reach Ramnagar, in case you miss the direct bus, you can follow an alternative bus route to Ramnagar.
