Panchachuli Glacier East Face (4206m)
Situated at the eastern border of Kumaon in Pithoragarh district, the route to the Glacier abounds in exotic scenery, snow capped mountains, gushing streams, alpine meadows and a rich variety of flora & fauna.
From this glacier, one can see the Panchachuli peaks in their towering glory. Panchachuli that derives its name from the five peaks is named after the legendry Pandavas.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi. Check in at hotel. Overnight train to kathgodam
Day 2 : Kathgodam - Chokori
Day 3 : Chokori - Dharchula
Day 4 : Dharchula – Sobla
Day 5 : Sobla – Sela Camp I ….. 10 km trek
Day 6 : Sela – Baling Camp II ….. 09 km trek
Day 7 : Baling – Duktu Camp III ….. 06 km trek
Day 8 : Duktu – Glacier/Snow point Duktu ….. 04 km trek
Day 9 : Duktu – Sela Camp I ….. 15 km trek
Day10 : Sela – Dharchula ….. 10 km trek
Day 11 : Dharchula – Almora
Day 12 : Rock Climbing at Almora and evening departure to Kathgodam Railway station. Overnight train to Delhi.
Day 13 : Arrive Delhi. Check in at hotel. Departure to your destination
